    “MOMMY!!!” Clay Jr. screamed, running into the kitchen with tears running down his face and startling Desmond as he washed dishes. He stopped immediately to tend to the 4 year old, brows furrowed with worry,
    “What’s wrong?! Clay, why are you crying? Did you get hurt?” he said, a tinge of panic in his voice as he kneeled, slight discomfort on his face as the full weight of his round belly landed on his knees. Clay tried to wipe at his eyes again only to have another whimper come out of him,
    “I…I gots something in my eyes! Its stings!” Des went to tilt his head back to check his eyes when he withdrew in disgust,
    “Clay, sweety, why are you sticky?” he asked, feeling like he should know what was on his son. The boy tried to open his eyes; normally hazel blue color watery and red with irritation,
    “I-I found a little bottle in the bathroom, it was pink and-and it had a picture of cherries on it…I thought it was candy!” he sobbed, trying to rub at his eyes with his shirt, only to have his hands swatted away. Desmond’s face was red and flustered as he got to his feet; quickly grabbing Clay in his arms and carrying him to the bathroom. Running the water, Desmond carefully removed the sticky clothing and, making sure the water was just right, set the toddler in the tub.
    “Clay…You should know by now; don’t eat things you find! Especially if it’s in the bathroom!!” he scolded as he poured water in his eyes, flushing them out while making sure to scrub the rest of the sticky off him. Taking a deep breath, he looked around the tiled room, his face heating up when he caught sight of the cherry-scented KY bottle in the corner. He turned back to the tub at the sound of whimpering; the toddler was staring at his reflection in the water, soft sobs shaking his little frame,
    “I’m sorry mommy! I didn’t mean it!!…don’t be mad…” he sobbed, standing and snuggling into his mother’s chest; water soaking into Des’ clothes as the he sighed. Hugging the toddler back, Des calmed him down,
    “Just…don’t do that again, ok? Come to me or Papa if you find anything like that.” he said softly, planting a kiss on Clay’s forehead, “Can you promise me that?” The little boy shook his head vigorously, spraying Des with water and making him laugh. He smiled,
    “Plus, if there was any candy, which I’m not say there is, it’d be in the kitchen. Not the bathroom, ok?” he said, lifting Clay out of the bathtub and wrapping a towel around him.
    “Ok! Can I have juice, mommy?” he asked, holding onto the towel as he shuffled his way to his room. Des followed, rubbing his belly with a grin on his face,
    “Why of course you can, sweetheart. Are you hungry?”

    “What the hell, Alex?! I thought I told you to put the lube somewhere safe!” Desmond hissed, glaring daggers at his husband. Alex shot Des an apologetic look,
    “Alright, I’m sorry! I didn’t think he’d find it in there!” he pleaded, throwing himself tiredly on the mattress in their room, next to a very pissed Desmond. The pregnant man rolled his eyes,
    “You know he’s curious, why didn’t you put it somewhere he couldn’t reach?? He’s less than 4 feet tall, for fuck’s sake!” Desmond ground out, laying back against the headboard. He was getting too aggitated, which was not good for the baby, “From now on, that shit’s staying in our closet or in one of the cabinets in here. And as punishment…no sex for a week.” Alex’s eyes widened,
    “What?! It was an accident, babe, come on!” he said, getting up and looming over the other with a seductive smile, “Come on…you can’t say that. I know you want some….” He went down for a kiss only to get pushed away, a deadpan glare on Desmond’s face.
    “I swear to god, try anything and you won’t be getting anything but your hand until the baby’s born, got it?” That got another apology out of the virus, and they went to sleep; one with blue balls and the other with a slight smile on his lips.
